He is a Senior Research Analyst at the PMIU of the Punjab Affordable Housing Program. Previously he has worked as an Urban Planner and GIS Analyst at the Macomb County, USA, and as a GIS Specialist at the Leicester City Council, UK. Mr. Karim is highly qualified and has multiple degrees related to urban planning and development.

He has an MSc. degree in Geographical Information Science from the University of Leicester, UK, a Master of Urban Planning (MUP) from Wayne State University, USA, and a Masters in Economics degree from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He is a member of the American Planning Association and has hands-on experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop, QGIS, MapInfo, RStudio, ERDAS IMAGINE, SPSS, and SQL.
